Why people look for a SaleSqueze alternative
Nobody searches for an alternative to software that fits perfectly. Companies start looking at other configurator vendors for ordinary reasons: the price model no longer matches how they grow, a product line they want to add isn’t covered, quotes still end up in a spreadsheet, or the contract is up for renewal and it is simply time to check.
We don’t know your current setup, and we won’t describe another vendor’s product or prices. We can’t verify them, and you would be right not to trust us if we did. The questions to ask every configurator vendor
Ask each vendor these in writing and keep the answers side by side. Vague answers are an answer too.
Pricing model
Configurator pricing comes in many shapes: per product, per user, per quote, setup fees, separate modules. Ask for the full yearly cost for your situation (number of products, users and languages) not the headline price. Ours is a single plan with no setup fee for products that start from a template; see pricing.
Templates and 3D models
Ask how a new product gets into the configurator and who pays for it. Our 120 parametric models cover pergolas, verandas, carports, garden rooms, fences, gates, awnings, doors, windows, saunas, pools, decking and outdoor kitchens. You rename and switch options yourself. Custom models for unusual products are quoted separately.
What happens after the request
This is where vendors differ most and demos say least. Ask to see a request become a quote, the quote become a PDF and the buyer sign it. With us that runs through quotes, follow-ups, a pipeline and production sheets with bill of materials and cut list.
Embedding
Ask whether the configurator runs on the website you already have, and whether you can limit where it runs. Ours embeds with one script line and resizes itself; embeds can be limited to your own websites per product.
Hosting, support and contract
Ask where the data lives, who you call when something breaks, and how you leave. We host in the EU, answer by email and phone (+31 6 15 42 58 11) in English, Dutch, German and French, and you cancel from the billing page.
