A veranda configurator that books the measuring visit
Put a veranda configurator on your website and buyers design their own veranda in 3D, glass or polycarbonate, with your prices. The request arrives with photos of the wall and a measuring visit booked.
Every option your verandas have, in 3D, step by step
Our Aluminium veranda template ships with 17 options and 31 choices.
How verandas are usually priced, and how to set it up
Set these rules once. Every configuration your buyers make is priced the same way you would do it by hand.
- Base price from a width × depth table per roof type, because glass and polycarbonate differ at every size and the steps follow your profiles.
- Extra posts and a heavier gutter beam kick in above a set width; build that into the table instead of surprising the buyer later.
- Sliding glass walls priced per metre of the side they close, with the wedge as its own line.
- Sunscreens per roof field, above or under the roof at different prices.
- Standard RAL colours included; a special colour as a fixed surcharge per veranda.
- Installation as its own line by size band, with freestanding verandas carrying the extra posts and foundations.

Why a contact form loses veranda buyers
A veranda is usually the biggest single order a buyer places with you, and the choices are the same every time: width and depth, glass or polycarbonate, which sides closed, which colour. A contact form turns each of those into an email or a phone call, and a buyer with no idea of the price rarely books a visit.
In a configurator the buyer works through it alone, in 3D, and sees the price change between a polycarbonate roof and clear glass. When they send the request they attach photos of the wall the veranda will sit against and pick a measuring visit on your calendar. Our guide on site photos and measuring visits in the request form shows how that works.
How to set up your veranda configurator
Start from our parametric veranda model at build your configurator. Set the sizes you build, the roofs and walls you sell, your RAL names and your prices: live price, “from” price or quote only, per product. Put the options in the order of the build: mounting and size, roof, colour, walls, then sun protection and comfort.
Leave out what you measure on site: the wall’s condition, drainage, the height of the sill. Those belong in the photos and the visit. Switch on AR so the buyer can stand on the terrace with a phone and see the veranda against the house.
Selling tip: quote the closed room next to the open one
Many buyers start with an open veranda and want to close it two years later. Put Basic (open, polycarbonate), Comfort (glass roof, sliding glass front) and Premium (fully closed, heater and LED) side by side on the quote. The buyer compares them on the online quote page, and closing the room now is cheaper than a second installation later.
Where the configurator goes
Paste one embed line on your WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Wix page, or use the storefront that comes with the plan on your own domain; see how embedding works. Google, Meta and TikTok conversion events fire on the request with its value, so a campaign is judged on quote requests, not clicks.
One plan covers everything: see pricing, or book a 30-minute walkthrough. Selling louvred roofs as well? See the pergola configurator.
The questions your veranda buyers have
- Glass or polycarbonate: what is the price difference on my size?
- What does it cost to close the front with sliding glass?
- Will a 3.5 m depth still leave light in the living room?
- How does the frame look in anthracite against my brick wall?
Mistakes sellers make putting verandas online
- Quoting a veranda by m² when the price really moves with posts and roof fields.
- Hiding sliding glass walls behind “ask us” so buyers never see the closed room.
- Driving out to measure before the buyer has agreed on roof, walls and colour.
- Letting the request sit until the weekend while the buyer collects three more quotes.
What you get
- The request with every parameter, the 3D screenshot, site photos and the price breakdown in your pipeline.
- A numbered quote in two clicks, with Basic / Comfort / Premium options, a PDF, an online quote page and e-signature.
- Follow-ups that run themselves: unanswered requests become tasks, unsigned and expiring quotes get a reminder.
- Production sheets from the same configuration: bill of materials, cut list and work order.

Questions, answered
Still deciding? We'll walk you through it with your own product.
Book a walkthroughCan customers choose between glass and polycarbonate roofs?
Yes. Roof type is a standard option on the veranda template, with its own price. You set which roofs you offer and the price difference; the 3D model shows the material.
Do sliding glass walls work in the configurator?
Yes. Each side can be open, a glass wedge, sliding glass with a wedge or a solid wall, and the front can take sliding glass walls or zip screens, each priced on its own. Posts and gutter follow the structure as it resizes.
How do I handle the measuring visit most verandas need before a firm order?
The request form has an optional measuring-visit slot booked straight on your calendar, plus up to five site photos, checked and re-encoded on our side. The booking and the photos land on the deal before you have called the customer.
Can I run one configurator for several veranda ranges (entry, mid, premium)?
Yes. Build a product per range, or use quote options (Basic / Comfort / Premium) on one request so the customer compares specifications and prices side by side on the quote page.
How long to get a veranda configurator live?
Building from the veranda template takes about 3 minutes; start building or book a 30-minute walkthrough. After that, the time goes into your prices and RAL names, not the 3D model. Browse ready-made models or try the live demo.
