A carport configurator that measures the drive for you
Put a carport configurator on your website and buyers size their own carport to the drive in 3D, with your prices on every click. You get the request with size, roof, walls, colour and extras filled in.
Every option your carports have, in 3D, step by step
Our Aluminium carport template ships with 14 options and 26 choices.
How carports are usually priced, and how to set it up
Set these rules once. Every carport your buyers configure is priced the same way you would price it by hand.
- Base price from a width × depth table, so the extra beam and post that a double or triple bay needs is in the number.
- Roof as a price per m² on top of the frame: opal polycarbonate as the standard, glass and insulated panel as steps up, solar as its own line.
- Mounting as a rule: against the house drops the back posts but adds a wall plate and fixings, so it can carry its own price.
- Side walls priced per side and per type, scaled by the length of that side.
- Extra clear height as a surcharge above the standard height, because posts and bracing get longer.
- Storage room, EV charger and lights as fixed add-ons, with installation as a fixed line or a “from” price where the ground is unknown.

Why a contact form loses carport buyers
Carport enquiries are short: “double carport for the drive, what does it cost?” A contact form answers that with silence until someone calls back, and by then the buyer has asked three other companies. The question behind it has more variables than it looks: width and depth, clear height, freestanding or against the house, the roof, the walls, the colour, and more and more often a solar roof and a charger.
A configurator answers the short question and collects the long answer at the same time. The buyer enters the size of the drive, sees the cars fit, picks the roof and walls, watches the price move and sends a specified request with a 3D screenshot. Our guide to selling carports, pergolas and verandas online covers the rest of that funnel.
How to set up your carport configurator
Put size and mounting first, then the roof, then walls and colours, and the extras last. Rename the roof and wall types in your own words, switch off what you don’t sell, and set the widths and depths in the steps your profiles come in.
Leave out what needs a site visit: foundations, a sloping drive or a weak wall are priced after the request. Switch on site photos in the request form so the buyer sends a picture of the drive and the house wall, or offer a measuring visit on your calendar. With AR preview the buyer stands on the drive and sees the carport there on their phone.
Selling tip: put the solar roof on the screen
Buyers who are already thinking about an electric car are halfway to a solar carport and a charger. Show the solar roof as a roof option next to polycarbonate, not as a separate project, and the EV charger as one click. The quote can carry both as options (Basic with polycarbonate, Premium with solar and charger) side by side, and the production sheet takes the right roof structure to the workshop; see how a configuration becomes a production sheet.
Where the configurator goes
Paste one line on your WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Wix site, or run the storefront on your own domain; see how embedding works. Every request sends a conversion event with its value to Google, Meta and TikTok, so your campaigns optimise for carport requests, not page views.
All of it is one plan at €499 a month excl. VAT, no setup fee. See pricing or book a 30-minute walkthrough.
The questions your carport buyers have
- Will two cars fit side by side on my drive?
- What does a solar roof add to the price?
- Can it go against the house, or does it need to stand free?
- Is there room for a van or a camper underneath?
Mistakes sellers make putting carports online
- Quoting one “double carport from” price that ignores the drive the buyer actually has.
- Treating a solar roof as a separate project with a separate quote and a separate wait.
- Asking for drive measurements by email instead of letting the buyer enter them.
- Showing every wall and roof type when you only stock three colours and two roofs.
What you get
- The request with every parameter, the 3D screenshot and the price breakdown in your pipeline.
- A numbered quote in two clicks, with options, a PDF, an online quote page and e-signature.
- Follow-ups that run themselves: unanswered requests become tasks, unsigned quotes get a reminder.
- A production sheet from the same configuration: bill of materials, cut list and work order.

Questions, answered
Still deciding? We'll walk you through it with your own product.
Book a walkthroughCan customers configure single and double carports from one product?
Yes. Width is a parameter, not a separate product, so one carport covers single, double and wider layouts from 2.5 to 9 m. The 3D preview shows how many cars fit, and the price follows the footprint.
Does the configurator handle attached and freestanding carports?
Yes. Freestanding or against the house is one choice. It changes the fixing shown in 3D and can carry its own price, since an attached carport needs fewer posts.
Can I sell a solar roof on the same product?
Yes. Solar panels are a roof choice next to opal polycarbonate, glass and an insulated panel, each with its own price. It shows in the 3D model and in the price breakdown before the buyer requests a quote.
What if my carport range doesn't match the ready-made model exactly?
You set the sizes, rename the roofs and walls, choose your colours and switch off what you don’t sell. A structural feature that is truly your own can be added to the model.
