A door and window configurator that quotes to the millimetre
Put a door and window configurator on your website and buyers design their front door in 3D against their own facade, to the millimetre, with your prices on every click. You get the request with size, design, colours and lock filled in.
Every option your doors and windows have, in 3D, step by step
Our Entrance door template ships with 24 options and 49 choices.
How doors and windows are usually priced, and how to set it up
Set these rules once. Every configuration your buyers make is priced the way your supplier’s price list prices you.
- Base price from a width × height table per material and design, in the steps your supplier uses (often 100 mm), not a flat m² rate.
- Side lights priced by their width, the transom as a fixed add-on per door width.
- A different colour inside and outside as one fixed two-colour surcharge, on top of the RAL or timber finish.
- Glass upgrades per pane: frosted and reeded in the door, triple, acoustic or security glass per m² in windows.
- Locks, handles and extras such as letter plates and kick plates at list price, so the buyer sees what each one adds.
- Installation as a fixed price per door or per window, including removal of the old one. Lintels, brickwork and anything structural stay quote-only until the measuring visit.

Why a contact form loses door and window buyers
A front door is a considered purchase, and the buyer wants to see it before talking to anyone. A contact form gives them nothing to look at: they type “aluminium door, about 1 m wide, grey” and wait. You call back, ask about side lights, glass, the inside colour and the lock, and send a quote three days later. Meanwhile they have found a site where they could see the door against a brick facade and get a price.
A configurator turns that conversation into a few minutes on screen. The buyer sees the design, the colours and the price change as they go, and the request lands with the specification you would have asked for anyway. Your quote is mostly checking, not typing; see from an Excel quote to a ten-minute quote.
How to set up your door and window configurator
Follow the order the buyer thinks in: design and material first, then size and side lights, then colour outside and inside, then glass, then lock and handle, then extras. Set the minimum and maximum width and height per product to your supplier’s manufacturing range, so nobody configures a door that can’t be made.
Leave the exact measurement to the visit. The buyer’s own measurement is good enough for a reliable price; the measuring visit gives the number that goes to the factory. Make the visit booking required in the request form, ask for photos of the existing opening, and read site photos and measuring visits for how to set both up.
Selling tip: sell the lock and the glass, not just the door
Security is the upgrade buyers say yes to when they see it. Put the multipoint lock, the smart keypad and the security door next to the standard cylinder with their prices, and offer the quote as Basic, Comfort and Premium. Autumn is the season for it: buyers notice draughts and break-ins when the evenings get dark, and a new front door before winter is an easy decision.
Where the configurator goes
Paste one line on your WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Wix site, or run the storefront on your own domain. Every request fires a Google, Meta and TikTok conversion event with its value, so your ads learn which campaigns bring real door and window projects. See embedding on your site or book a 30-minute walkthrough.
The questions your door and window buyers have
- What does a side light add compared with a door on its own?
- Does anthracite outside and white inside actually work in my hallway?
- How does this design look against my red brick?
- What does a multipoint or smart lock add to the price?
Mistakes sellers make putting doors and windows online
- Showing a “from” price for the smallest door, then quoting the 1,200 mm one at nearly double.
- Letting buyers enter sizes your supplier can’t produce.
- Treating inside and outside colour as one choice, so the quote comes back wrong.
- Promising a firm price on a self-measured opening without booking a measuring visit.
What you get
- The request with exact size, design, glass, both colours and lock, the 3D screenshot and the price breakdown in your pipeline.
- A numbered quote with Basic, Comfort and Premium options, a PDF, an online quote page and e-signature.
- Follow-ups that run themselves: unanswered requests become tasks, opened quotes get a reminder.
- A production sheet that carries the exact size and spec through to the factory order.

Questions, answered
Still deciding? We'll walk you through it with your own product.
Book a walkthroughCan customers really enter exact millimetre sizes, not just standard sizes?
Yes. Width and height are free values within a minimum and maximum you set per product, matching what your supplier can actually make, instead of a fixed size list.
Can interior and exterior colours be different?
Yes. Each face has its own colour, priced with a two-colour surcharge if your supplier charges one, and the 3D model shows both sides as the buyer turns the door.
Does the configurator replace a professional measuring visit?
No. It gets a specified, priced request moving and books the visit, but the factory order should go on your own measurement from the visit, not on the buyer’s.
Can I offer different glazing or security specs as upgrade tiers?
Yes. Model them as options, or as Basic, Comfort and Premium options on one quote, so the buyer compares, say, standard HR++ glazing with triple or security glass side by side.
How long does it take to get a door and window configurator live?
Build your configurator from our door, window and patio door models in about 3 minutes, see the ready-made templates or the live demo. Most of the setup time goes into size limits and glass prices, not the 3D model. One plan, €499 a month; see pricing.
