From request to signed quote in two clicks
Numbered quotes turn a configurator request into a versioned document (Q-0042-v2) with priced options, a PDF, an online quote page, e-signature, deposits and financing.

Two clicks from request to quote
The configuration and price carry over from the request. Nobody retypes sizes or recalculates by hand.
Basic, Comfort, Premium on one page
Offer tiers side by side, mark one as recommended, and let the customer pick instead of phoning for “the cheaper one”.
Signed online, with a deposit
The customer accepts and e-signs on the quote page; add a deposit or a financing line once per quote.
Every revision keeps its number
Q-0042 becomes Q-0042-v2, so everybody knows which version is current. You see when it was opened.
How it works
In 5 steps
- Open a request in your pipeline and convert it to a quote in two clicks. The configuration and price carry over.
- Add Basic / Comfort / Premium options if you want the customer choosing between tiers rather than a single yes/no price.
- The quote gets a sequential number and version (Q-0042-v2 if you revise it), a PDF, and an online quote page rendered through your own page builder, so it looks like your site, not a generic invoice template.
- Add a deposit requirement or a financing line if you offer one; the customer can accept and e-sign directly on the quote page.
- A revised quote keeps the same number with an incremented version, so the customer and your team always know which one is current.

A quote in Next Configurator is a numbered, versioned document (Q-0042-v2) generated from a configurator request, with up to three priced options, a PDF, an online quote page built in the merchant's page builder, e-signature and optional deposits, so an installer sends a professional quote without retyping the configuration.
What a quote contains
- Every chosen option with its own price line
- Basic, Comfort and Premium options, one marked as recommended
- Your logo and colours, on your own quote page
- A PDF in the customer’s language
- An optional password on the quote link
- Deposit and financing lines
What it is
Every configurator request already carries a full, priced configuration. A quote takes that request and turns it into a formal, numbered document the customer can review, compare options on, and sign. Without anyone retyping sizes or recalculating a price by hand.
Why it matters for an installer
A quote that’s just a PDF emailed once gets forgotten. A quote with its own page means you can see when it’s opened (feeding the Results dashboard and triggering follow-up reminders), the customer can compare Basic/Comfort/Premium side by side instead of asking for “the cheaper option” by phone, and signing happens online instead of a scanned-and-emailed form. Deposits and financing lines are set once per quote, not negotiated by phone after the fact.
| Emailed PDF quote | Next Configurator quote |
|---|---|
| One price, no built-in comparison | Basic/Comfort/Premium options, same page |
| No way to tell if it was opened | Online quote page tracks opens, feeds Results |
| Signature by print-scan-email | E-signature on the quote page |
| Revisions lose the thread | Same quote number, new version (Q-0042-v2) |
Where this fits
Quotes that go unanswered or unsigned trigger automatic follow-ups; an accepted quote’s configuration goes straight to a production sheet. See the whole flow on pergolas or any industry page, check pricing, or book a 30-minute walkthrough.
Questions, answered
Still deciding? We'll walk you through it with your own product.
Book a walkthroughCan I offer three price tiers on one quote?
Yes. Basic, Comfort and Premium (or your own names), each with its own line items and total; the customer picks one on the online quote page.
Does the customer need an account to sign?
No. The quote page is a public, unique link; the customer opens it, reviews, and e-signs without registering.
Can I require a deposit before production starts?
Yes. Per quote: set a deposit amount or percentage, and acceptance includes paying it where you’ve enabled that.
What happens if I need to change the price after sending?
Edit the quote: it keeps the same number and gets a new version (Q-0042-v2, Q-0042-v3), so there’s no confusion about which one is live.
